Koh Rok, the Fascinations of the Beaches of Twin Islands in the Sea

If you are in search of twin islands in the sea, such a rare feature can only be found at Rok Islands, where two identical islands of almost the same size exist side by side, with only the water channel flowing through a narrow gorge as the dividing line.   Rok Nai Island or the Inner Koh Rok is located to the South, and Rok Nok Island, the Outer Ko Rok to the North. Both islands feature white sand beaches in the midst of bright green lagoon to the East, with long coral reefs in the surrounds. It is a beautiful skin diving site in the Andaman. Moreover, in the midst of the rainy season, there are chances to see Long Le Waterfall, a small cascade from steep cliff into the sea to the North of Ko Rok Nok, the only such as phenomenon in Thailand.

• How to get there : From Lanta Island, take a hired boat to Koh Rok. costing about 1,000 baht each. Boat trip service offer only the high season from November to April
