Khao Khanap Nam, the Symbol of the Town on the Shortest River in ThaiLand

Talking about Krabi, the name of Khao Khanap Nam always come to mind. The mountains stand on both sides of the Krabi River, rich in mangrove forests. It is the most photographed site in the province. A monument to sea crab has been built on the quay, as a lookout point. Taking cruise to Khao Khanap Nam, there is also a cave, with models of prehistoric dwellers

and important color cave paintings. It is interesting to note that Khao Khanap Nam is located on the shortest river in Thailand, Krabi River, only 5 kilometers in  total l

ength.

• How to get there : The cruising boat can be boarded at Chao Fa Boat Landing. The boat can be hired at 500 baht per hour.
